Shop Tech

JOB DESCRIPTION & PURPOSE: Assists Head of Departments in preparing and repairing equipment, while also helping to maintain warehouse systems and processes. Please note weekly schedule will be communicated and designated by the Operations Manager.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Assist in repairing and maintaining all equipment to proper working order at all times.

  • Prep and De-prep of short term and long-term rentals.

  • Communicate on a daily basis with the Department Heads and Operations Manager;

  • Assists in maintaining inventory levels by conducting physical counts;

  • Assists with general shop maintenance and duties including but not limited to: packaging for shipping, coordinating shipping and deliveries, painting, constructing special projects, administrative duties as assigned, assisting in shop cleanliness, and other duties, as assigned.

  • Operates Company vehicle for pick-up & deliveries when necessary, complying to USDOT laws. Able to obtain USDOT medical card (paid for by the Company) and has a valid drivers license and clean driving history.

  • Performs duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies/procedures.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Anticipate critical needs of the team and be proactive.

Able to drive company vehicle, Safety Management, Maintaining Standards, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills, Teamwork, Verbal Communication Skills, Adaptability, Professionalism, Able to perform the physical demands of the job (See Below). Willingness to learn how to utilize, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment. Takes initiative to accomplish needs and goals of the team, is self-aware of own strengths and limitations, and has attention to detail.
