Logistics Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION & PURPOSE: As our Logistics Manager, your vital role is to oversee the quality and efficiency of the warehouse logistics while ensuring to create the best experience for all those who utilize or visit our warehouse space. You are the lead professional and management for developing the growth of the logistics branch of operations at LabeLive as well as the liaison between physical operations (ie. execution of operations) and the Director of Operations (ie. strategy of operations). Additionally you organize, execute and evaluate the movement, distribution and storage of all rental assets, to ensure proper care & safety of all assets. 

JOB DUTIES:

  • Creates the best experience for all who “walk” through the warehouse, whether that is via phone, email, or in-person. To be the consistent face and representative of the company and our core values to all current and future clients, crew, and staff, consistently striving to “WOW” them with exceptional customer service. 

  • Improve and maintain logistical systems, processes and policies in support of Company’s mission. Specifically, support better reporting, communication, and systems that support the best outcome for our customers.

  • Responsible for the oversight of quality and overall accuracy of all outgoing and incoming shipments.

  • Responsible for the general implementation of the standard for cleanliness in the warehouse.

  • Interfacing with warehouse employees (full-time and part-time) to ensure that have what they need and provide feedback to Director of Operations on performance and product/organization recommendations. 

  • Oversee the organization and execution of the Audio Department, through delegation or execution.

  • Co-manage the safety of warehouse staff on a daily basis with the Director of Operations through education and tools provided by HR.

  • Co-manage & execute yearly inventory of entire warehouse including: rental and warehouse assets, and maintain inventory of sales items as needed.

  • Co-manage and execute monthly cycle counts to ensure accurate counts throughout the year.

  • Co-manage the technical coordination of The Cube and Showcase.

  • Request quotes for standard and freight shipments from vendors.

  • Schedule and coordinate all local delivery and pickups.

  • Make updates and changes in inventory software for departments at the guiding of the Director of Operations

  • Receive all incoming shipments and update into inventory software.

  • Comply with DOT standards including: Truck Compliance, managing and updating driver roster and driver logs. Able to obtain USDOT certified medical card and willing to drive box truck if necessary.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge

SKILLS/QUALIFICATION:

  • Prior logistics management (Preferred)

  • Experience in touring and/or production gear knowledge required

  • Must have proven experience in customer service - “wowing” clients/guests  with a friendly, positive attitude

  • Must have experience in Safety Management & Inventory Control; 

  • Highly skilled in Innovation and Problem-Solving abilities;

  • Team player & hunger to consistently improve on natural weaknesses to better serve the values and goals of the company.

  • Valid driver's license and clear driving history; Able to obtain Medical Card (provided by the Company).

  • Forklift certified (preferred)

COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Email; PC and Apple Operating Systems; Intellievent, Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
