JOB DESCRIPTION & PURPOSE: As one of our video technicians, you have the vital role and responsibility of customer happiness, event success, and client retention through the care and attention to our Video equipment. You are primarily responsible for preparing, maintaining, and repairing video equipment. Additionally, you will travel for assigned LabeLive events as a video technician as assigned by the Video Systems Engineer.

Repair and keep video equipment in working order at all times.
Insure gear is packaged for transport in a manner that is safe and minimizes damage.
Load and Unload gear for transport to/from events.
Prep and De-prep of short term and long-term rentals.
Must learn, and operate the software IntelliEvent Lightning for the purposes of: Creating Pull Sheets and Tracking Progress, Managing Inventory, Assigning Job Tasks, and other functions as it relates to the job.
Must understand and work within LabeLive defined Systems and Processes and uphold Standards set forth by the Company.
Willing to travel 125 days per year (Nights not in your bed) as a Video Technician & representative of the Company. Willing to travel for product and repair training.
Onsite logistics and management of video equipment and video systems for all live events that employee oversees.

Communicate on a daily basis with the Video Systems Engineer & Director of Operations
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Operates Company vehicle for pick-up & deliveries when necessary, complying to USDOT laws. Able to obtain USDOT medical card and has a valid drivers license and clean driving history.
Travel in the event that the company needs to send you on a job.
Willing to travel for product and repair training.
Performs administrative activities as assigned.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge.

1-3 years in LED experience
1-3 years live event touring experience
Fluent in BlackMagic, Novastar, and Resolume
Knowledge and Attention to the highest levels and best practices in Live Event safety
Intermediate Level knowledge of equipment technical and safety limitations (weights, safe rigging, power requirements, etc)
Intermediate Level knowledge of various brands of video processors, scalers, and converters.
Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Time Coding (SMPTE)
Basic to Intermediate knowledge of broadcast video
Proficient (High level) Knowledge of Video and LED equipment- Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining
Intermediate (High Level) knowledge in media servers
Proficient (High Level) Soldering skills
Must be able to pass forklift certification
